When it comes to racing across the desert, you need tough wheels, big engines and massive suspension. These giant trucks take part in a race called the Baja 1000, named because it is 1000 miles in length. Bouncing across rocks and sand dunes the trucks have to be strong, and their engines produce over 700bhp. The Baja is one of the toughest races in the world with bikes and trucks racing each other across the desert to see who can compete the distance the fastest, and many break down or crash before they reach the finish. These trucks have chunky bodywork which is usually brightly coloured, and lots of shiny metal suspension parts for you to colour in.
